Brian Hoodjer is a dedicated fiduciary advisor and the founder of Brighton Financial Group, where he helps individuals build lasting financial security and confidently transition into retirement.

Brian earned his degree in Business Management from Iowa State University. Before entering the financial industry, he spent over 15 years as a successful custom home builder, helping families create the homes of their dreams. Over time, he discovered a new passion—guiding people toward financial freedom in their retirement years. As a lifelong student of financial services and retirement planning, Brian brings extensive knowledge and a personalized, hands-on approach to helping clients navigate their financial future.

Brian specializes in working with pre-retirees and retirees, recognizing that financial strategies must evolve as individuals enter the critical "retirement red zone." He takes pride in simplifying complex financial concepts, helping clients shift their mindset, and providing strategies to navigate this pivotal stage of life with confidence and peace of mind.

Beyond his professional life, Brian’s greatest priorities are faith, family, and community. He lives in Adel, IA, with his wife, Kari, their daughter, Nellie, son, Sawyer, and their two golden retrievers, London and Willa. When he’s not helping families secure their financial future, you’ll find Brian enjoying the outdoors—whether it’s spending time on the lake, playing a round of golf, skiing down a mountain, or simply watching his favorite sports teams.
