This Retirement “Gap” Is Why Some People Retire With Peace of Mind… and Others Retire With Stress

If you’re within 5–15 years of retirement — or already retired — this short video explains why you might still feel uncertain, even after doing everything “right”.

About Brighton Financial Group

At Brighton Financial Group, we help people prepare for retirement with more clarity, structure, and confidence. Our goal is to help clients think through the financial decisions that matter most as retirement gets closer — not just from an investment standpoint, but from a planning standpoint.

That includes helping clients better understand how the pieces fit together, including:

  • Retirement income

  • Tax planning

  • Risk management

  • Social Security and Medicare considerations

  • Long-term retirement strategy

Because retirement should feel more intentional than uncertain.

Meet Brian Hoodjer

Brian Hoodjer is the Founder of Brighton Financial Group and a fiduciary advisor who works primarily with pre-retirees and retirees.

He’s passionate about helping people make sense of the financial decisions that come with retirement and guiding them through what he often calls the “retirement red zone” — the critical years leading up to and into retirement.

Brian’s approach is personal, educational, and practical. He believes people deserve more than vague reassurance or one-size-fits-all advice. They deserve a plan they can understand and feel confident in.
